About Lake County Aikikai

Lake County Aikikai is a member dojo of the United States Aikido Federation (USAF) and is affiliated with the Aikikai Foundation in Japan.  We are honored to be under the direction of Yoshimitsu Yamada Sensei, a former uchi-deshi to the Founder of Aikido, Morihei Ueshiba.  At Lake County Aikikai, we teach the martial art of Aikido.  Aikido is a practical art of self-defense that aims to cause minimal injury to an attacker.
